As a GMDM (Global Master Data Management) Product Owner, your role involves handling use cases, experiences, and solutions that add value and align closely with the business, other Product Owners, and IT stakeholders. In this specific position, your focus will be on GMDM software, integration, applications, data dashboarding, and the Global Data Model. As the Product Owner, you’ll oversee the entire development process, ensuring quality and the well-being of the system to meet the needs and preferences of users. You’re accountable for CluedIn and the global data model. Your main responsibilities include defining the overall vision and managing various backlog items and improvement initiatives. You’ll also serve as the primary point of contact for the organization, handling suggestions, questions, escalations, and other matters related to software and data insight needs.
Together with key stakeholders, you will define a product vision that seamlessly aligns with GMDM’s business needs, roadmap and growth opportunities. The goal is to ensure that business needs are clearly understood and defined in epics, features and user stories. These efforts require close coordination and buy-in from IT counterparts, with a special focus on technology and third-party solutions. You create integration between data, user research, (A/B) testing, market insights and business needs to define and prioritize the Product Roadmap. A transparent, data-driven prioritization process guides the approach to backlog items with the highest business value. You are also the driving force behind the team, driving productivity and ensuring the release of high-quality items. Agile tools and practices are adopted under your coaching. Communication with stakeholders about priorities, features, testing and release planning is essential and continuously maintained. A measurable set of KPIs are established to measure the success of the project, while also staying abreast of industry trends.
As the primary operational point of contact for all aspects of the software, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to discuss updates on the status of the application. You will contribute to the identification and management of technical projects to meet requirements and maintain service levels. Support is provided for strategic capacity and performance management, software licensing, security certificates and contracts. You also contribute to ensuring available application and service knowledge and documentation. Finally, you will work independently in global virtual teams to provide timely solutions to any audit or regulatory issues.
