Freelance Connecting Friday

In the past 15 years, we have built up a community of interim professionals, specialists, managers, directors and executives within the digital domain.

Freelance Connecting Friday happens monthly and on this day we bring the aforementioned community together and facilitate your workspace for one day. On the last Friday of the month, everyone working on an interim basis in the digital domain, is welcome at the industrial REM island.

Not only can you work for a day in an inspiring setting looking out over Amsterdam’s IJ, but you can also meet others working on an interim basis, thereby expanding your network, helping you to get inspired and having the opportunity to spar with them about your best practices.

The concept

Newpeople facilitates your workspace for one day. Every edition has a different afternoon theme but the sharing of knowledge is always a key point of focus. This theme could be digitally related content whereby we invite a guest speaker, but it could also be content related to being self-employed or to certain trends and developments in the market which leads to discussions. The theme is announced before the event takes place.

Digitalisation means that the world is changing more quickly than ever before which brings a market that demands a high degree of flexibility.

09.30-10.00: round of introductions
12:00-13:00: lunch
14:00-15:00: content related to the theme
16.30-17.30: rounding off and drinks
