About the vacancy Director Executive Search

As Director Executive Search you are, together with the team, responsible for expanding the customer portfolio and independently carrying out the Executive Search process. 

As Director Executive Search you are specifically:

  • Client focused: You maintain intensive and qualitative contact with the client and you advise the client about digital transformation and/or growth from a people and leadership perspective. In addition, you are a good listener and you understand the challenges the client faces. You then know how to convert this into assignments for Newpeople;
  • Business oriented: You are a thought leader in the field of ‘new’ leadership, ‘human talent’ and digital developments and changes within (fast growing) organizations;
  • Community and people minded: You are a fully-fledged discussion partner at Executive and C level within the digital domain; 
  • Result driven: Both individually and jointly with the team, you are responsible for increasing the customer portfolio and the successful completion of the processes where 100% conversion is the standard;
  • Structured: You can perform multiple assignments simultaneously with ease and pleasure. You work systematically and with an analytical mindset, search and assess candidate profiles and successfully complete projects;
  • Project focused: You independently set up the executive search project, direct and coordinate the process from preparation, intake to hiring candidates at the client. 

Do you recognize yourself in this vacancy?

As Director Executive Search you are a networker who wants to see results in connecting the ‘new’ leaders in organizations in order to realize digital transformation and/or growth. In this you bring your own network at management and C-level of both potential clients and candidates. You have +/- 10 years of experience as a (Sr.) Consultant in Executive Search, (Strategy) Consulting or Human Capital or you bring substantive knowledge through senior experience within Digital Strategy and/or Digital Business Development. 

The Director Executive Search we are looking for recognizes in the description below: 

  • Self management with teaming: Executive search work is dynamic and complex. It requires perseverance, independence and intensive cooperation within the team. A high degree of proactiveness, interaction and result orientation is required; 
  • Confidential: Many assignments are strategic and highly confidential. Contact with stakeholders and candidates should take place with great discretion; 
  • Enterprising: You are a self-starter, inquisitive, curious, see a challenge in solving complex issues and finding the very best candidate, you do not give up before all possibilities have been explored; 
  • Language skills: You have good communication skills (both verbal and written). You work out proposals, profile descriptions and reports independently. Excellent English and fluent Dutch is a requirement; 
  • Advising: You are able to translate business opportunities into the right required leadership profile and advise candidates about their career steps.

What we offer

  • 75-125k annual salary (depending on your experience) including 8% holiday pay;
